Unitas Hotel has a strange but intriguing history that depicts the two sides of humanity. A place, which was once built to serve God ironically, turned into place of terror when the Secret Police took over the convent. In fact, the convent cells share a very famous history with names like ex-Czech president Mr. Vaclav Havel amongst others. Since then, the place has been reconstructed into a budget accommodation and the church of St. Bartolomew has been restored with funds raised by H.R.H Charles.

Unitas Hotel is located in the historical centre of Prague’s Old Town, a few walks away from Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and National Theater. It has a unique ambiance in the guestrooms and its location surrounded by art galleries, museums, bric-a-brac stores, cosy restaurants and shopping arcades.

The once notorious prison cells are now spacious guestrooms with a welcoming atmosphere. The interiors have been designed to keep the remnants of history while adding and exotic feel to the rooms. Rooms are equipped with amenities such as wireless, Sat TV with own DVD player, direct dial telephone, minibar, big safe box for notebooks and air-conditioning. The shared bathrooms are enormously large to have room for bath tubes or showers, design wash basins with cosmetic mirrors and hairdryers.
